RUDE CHANNELS KIRBY The Fantasti-Car!
Here's Steve Rude's recreation of the cover of Fantastic Four #3 by Kirby. This issue featured the debut of the team's superhero uniforms, as well as the "Fantasti-Car." When fans later complained that the car looked like a flying bathtub, Stan Lee noted the fact in an actual FF story, prior to unveiling Kirby's redesign of the car.
